Las Vegas, NV (September 15, 2016)- The Injured Police Officers Fund is honoring the Nevada Law Enforcement Community at the “Heroes Live Forever Country Gala” at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country in Town Square on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. In addition, the organization is honoring the brave men and women who serve and protect communities across the state of Nevada with the “Thank a Cop” week.
While the focus of this event is a night dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of our officers killed or injured in the line of duty, we invite you to come and kick up your boots “Stoney’s Style”! There is no fee for officers to attend. For our other guests, your tax deductible donation of $20 at the door will include food, drinks, live music by Elvis Monroe, line dancing lessons, and a “No Bull-You’ve Been Challenged Contest” to ride the bull at Stoney’s!

IPOF President, Lieutenant Alan Davidson said, “I would like to personally thank each and every Law Enforcement Officer in this great state for the dedication and commitment to their oath of office. In a time of need, it is these brave men and women who sacrifice their livelihood to serve and protect those around them.” “Remember that week is “Thank a Cop” week. So go find an officer and take the time to say Thank You!”

The mission of The Injured Police Officers Fund (IPOF) is to help reduce the financial burden suffered by police officers and their families in the event of a line of duty injury or death by providing monetary assistance. The IPOF depends on the generosity of the residents of the entire Las Vegas Valley in order to continue to provide aide to the families of officers killed or seriously wounded in the line of duty.
